High Standards

Teachers at Little Texans are held to high standards and expectations. In addition to the state mandated requirements for training, staff must possess certain attributes and characteristics to be on our team.
Job Description
We work together as a team. All staff are expected to be team players and uplift those around you. Nobody likes working in a hostile environment, so all negativity and drama should be left at the door. Regardless of the classroom assigned, all staff are expected to do the following:

Have a positive attitude.

Be professional.

Be on time.

Be patient and love all of the children.

Keep the classroom and children clean.

Supervise the children at all times.

Follow the daily schedule for the specified group you are responsible for.

Be flexible. You may be asked to take another class, adjust the class schedule, combine classes, or help in some other area of the building as needed.

Be committed. Consistency is very important for the children. They need someone that is going to be there everyday.
Employment Requirements
Employees must:

Be 18 years old.
-
Have a high school diploma or GED.
-
Pass a criminal background check.
-
Get First Aid and CPR certification.
-
Complete 24 hours of training each year.
